Privacy and interview data

Updated September 30, 2026. This notice describes the business interview workflow and its data handling.

Information used for interviews

Account and organization information, candidate invitation details, uploaded source documents, questions and rubrics are used to operate interviews. Interviews produce recordings, transcripts, answers, scores and reviewer notes. Usage and payment-order metadata support account balances and operations.

Consent and review

Candidates must explicitly consent to recording before an interview starts. Declining required consent blocks the interview. Recordings and results are restricted to authorized organization members. AI scores are based on transcript evidence and the interview rubric; hiring teams review the results and make their own decisions. Camera footage is never used for behavioural scoring.

Service providers

Model and media providers process information needed to generate questions, transcribe interview answers and produce evidence-linked scores or deliver the interview. Uploaded documents and transcript evidence may be sent to the configured AI provider. Recordings are not sent for camera-derived inference. Authentication cookies support sign-in and request protection.

Twelve calendar months

The product retention period is 12 calendar months. Source documents expire from upload; recordings from capture. Interview results use completion, or closure/abandonment for sessions that do not complete. Reusable questions and templates use their last-use date. Related interview evidence follows the session expiry. Customer-downloaded copies are outside server retention. Operational backups and financial/account provenance have separate operational requirements.

Questions about your information

Contact your hiring organization about interview information or alice@interviewcentral.live about the service. Do not email passwords, payment details or sensitive interview evidence. No response time is promised.
